About Filippa

BA (Hons) DipNNT (Hons) mANP mNMTF rCNHC

Filippa Harrington is a registered naturopathic practitioner specialising in women’s health.

Throughout a career trajectory of environmental sustainability, to natural chef, and food educator, working amongst small-scale farmers, in retreat centers, healing hotels and in her own restaurant, she experienced both the potent healing potential of food, as well as the myriad of chronic diseases that so many of the individuals she crossed paths struggled with. And through these experiences, Filippa recognised a clear calling to understand illness, and disease, and how we can use an integrative approach to support true wellbeing.

Filippa is deeply engaged with women’s health and brings her experience of motherhood, and her doula training into individualised programs working with women in pregnancy and postpartum care. Her deep respect for the natural world led her to explore education in herbal medicine, specialising in the use of medicinal herbs in women’s health.

As a point of personal academic research, she is particularly interested in the role of early childhood trauma and its links to autoimmune and chronic illness in women, and the potential of mind-body medicine there within.

Filippa is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine (US) and is regulated by NMTF (Sweden), the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (UK) and the General Naturopathic Council.
